TOUR DESCRIPTION:
Enjoy a relaxing morning on the river with the dolphins and visit one of the few beaches that Suriname has. We will take you along for a magical encounter with the Surinamese dolphins. During this three-hour relaxing trip on the water we seek out for these special animals. It’s great to see them jumping and playing and it seems like they have a lot of fun to keep coming up in unexpected places, just when all the cameras in the other direction are addressed.
THE ROUTE:
From Leonsberg we sail north towards the estuary where we look for the dolphins. Having amply to the presence of the dolphins have enjoyed we make a short visit to the beach Braamspunt or a beach on the Atlantic Ocean for a walk on the beach or swim in the Atlantic Ocean.
CATERING (subject to change):
Drink: Coca Cola Light, Fernandes soft, fresh juice, water.
Snacks: Surinamese chip types, savory snacks, fruit.
DRESS CODE & WHAT TO BRING:
- Sunscreen and insect repellent
- Shoes or sandals that can get wet
If people want to swim in the Atlantic Ocean:
- Swimwear and towel
- Water shoes or plastic sandals (in connection with sharp objects)
NOTE:
There is never given guarantee of seeing dolphins. The spotting rate is 98%.

If you are with less people you can always submit your reservation, we might have other customers so that we can combine.

Transport to and from departure point:
Guests should use their own transport to the pier of Leonsberg. From the center of Paramaribo is about 15 minutes by car. It is also possible to go to Leonsberg by public transport (line 4, leaving the flat bridge). Upon returning from the trips that depart at 16:00 hours drive no more buses. The guide will by the end of the trip, if desired, call a taxi for guests. If possible trips are also combined. A taxi ride to and from the center costs between 15 and 20 SRD.
