This varied tour through Suriname is especially made for the adventurous traveler who loves the combination of sporting adventure, nature and comfort. Through the active part with the Busiwagi 4 × 4 off road tour towards Blanche Marie, the canoe trip to Stondasi through the untouched nature and a trip by speedboat you will experience the adventurous aspect. There are also beautiful places and areas such as Paramaribo, New Nickerie, Bigi Pan, Groningen and some plantations. By using the right materials and sufficient moments of rest you can optimally enjoy this trip. You sleep in high-quality hammocks in the middle of nature or a bed in the city. Through the variety of all these aspects you experience the beautiful Surinam in a special way.

Programme:
Day 1 – Arrival, Domburg On arrival at the airport of Paramaribo / Zanderij, the tour guide from Busiwagi awaits you and brings you by minibus to the overnight address.
Day 2 – 4×4 Blanche Marie Today you take the adventure with the Busiwagi 4×4 off road tour towards the Blanche Marie Waterfalls. On the first day you will explore the savannah with your travel companions and the guide. There you will have the opportunity to take the adventure of offroading. Big puddles, mud baths, hills and deep potholes, everything is covered. The overnight stay takes place in a spot in the middle of the beautiful jungle.
Day 3 – 4×4 Blanche Marie After breakfast we continue into the beautiful interior. You defy the obstacles and enjoy nature. Lunch is useful at the end of the trail. After this we will search together for a suitable camp site. Some basic principles of survival in the jungle are being tried out. Then get ready for a well-deserved night’s rest.
Day 4 – 4×4 Blanche Marie You wake up with the typical forest sounds from the jungle of Suriname. After a hearty breakfast we continue our way towards the Blanche Marie waterfalls. After arrival at Blanche Marie we have the time to relax and you have the opportunity to take a refreshing and refreshing dive. You will spend some time at the waterfalls and enjoy the beautiful spectacle. The camp is made near the traps.
Day 5 – Kanotrip Today we prepare for the next sporting adventure, a canoe trip on the Nickerie river. On either side of the banks you can spot many animals including tropical birds and monkeys. In the afternoon we will make camp on one of the banks.
Day 6 – Canoe Trip Today we continue the canoe adventure. A long, sturdy trip on the Nickerie river. Beautiful river beds, sulas and beautiful views. You are short of eyes. In the afternoon we get out of the canoe, make the perfect spot where we prepare for a well-deserved night’s rest.
Day 7 – Relaxing Stondansi After a short canoe trip we arrive at our destination Stondansi. Here we relax and enjoy the fantastic and strenuous canoe trip. Here we also make camp for the night.
Day 8 – Speedboat to Wageningen Today we continue the trip by speedboat to Wageningen. A tough and impressive trip on the Nickerie river. There is a relaxed afternoon program in the beautiful surroundings of Nieuw Nickerie. We spend the next two nights in an authentic accommodation above the water, Stefanies Lodge.
Dag 9 – Nieuw Nickerie Vandaag bezoeken we de tweede stad van Suriname, Nieuw Nickerie. Een overwegend Hindoestaans stadje met ongeveer 8.000 inwoners. We maken een wandeling, je krijgt wat tijd om de stad te verkennen en we gaan een boottocht maken in de prachtige omgeving.
Day 10 – Bigi Pan Tour After breakfast we will sail through the Bigi Pan nature reserve. During this trip you will spot birds such as red ibises, waders and various birds of prey. We also have a great chance that we can see caimans from up close.
Day 11 – 12 Apartment Bloemendaal / Groningen From Nieuw Nickerie we leave for Groningen to the Bloemendaal apartment. At the end of this trip there is time to relax. The apartment has a lovely swimming pool where you can take a refreshing dip and enjoy after all the impressions you have gained during this trip.
Day 13 – Paramaribo After breakfast it is time to return to Paramaribo. You get the time to explore the city and visit some shops. In the beginning of the evening we enjoy a delicious joint dinner. The overnight stay takes place in a hotel in Paramaribo.
Day 14 – Departure from Suriname In the course of the morning you will be picked up by our driver who will take you to the airport.
